HR 531 Access of Chiropractic Care through Frontline Health Care Act

Posted on: 05/27/2011

ICA is calling on all doctors of chiropractic, students, patients and concerned individuals to give HR 531 "Access to Frontline Health Care Act of 2011" their immediate and wholehearted support.

Please write your respective legislators today.  Correspondence is already prepared for your signature.  {@click_here} here to return to AdjustTheVote.org.  Please forward both a fax and letter requesting your legislator to co-sponsor HR 531.

HR 531 places a new emphasis on interdisciplinary cooperation and offers urgently needed services to meet the needs of citizens in underserved areas.

HR 531 has been introduced in the US House of Representatives by Iowa Rep. Bruce Braley.  This important legislation would authorize the participation of doctors of chiropractic in a federal program through which a portion of the doctor's student loan obligation might be paid off by "frontline" service "...for a period of full-time service of not less than 2 years at a health care facility serving a frontline care scarcity area."  The term "frontline care services" means health care services provided by a wide range of licensed health professionals, including doctors of chiropractic.

You are asking your Representative to call Rep. Bruce Braley to offer co-sponsorship of HR 531.  {@click_here} to do it today.

Sincerely,

James E. Musick, D.C., FICA,
International Chairman, Congressional District Directors
